Course Description
This program is traditionally completed by those at supervisory level within their organisation or the Irish Private Security Industry. On completion of the training programme, participants will have developed the knowledge and skills required by those engaged in or wishing to progress to management level within a security company or department.
Successful candidates will gain an understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a supervisor as well as techniques for training and assessing staff. Trainees on this program also develop their skills in delivering assignments, staff welfare and operational supervision.
Duration
This course is currently delivered over four class room days. Candidates are also required to complete some additional work for their assessments.
Requirements
Participants are required to bring a photocopy of their passport or drivers licence, two passport sized photos and their PPS number for registration purposes.
Course Cost
The total course costs €495. This includes all course notes and certification fees.
Course Accreditation
This course is accredited by FETAC and successful candidates attain a FETAC level 6 minor award in Supervisory Security Management.
