Course Description
The Security Occupational First Aid course now includes cardiac first responder training in automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and administering aspirin for heart attack patients. This three day course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare the qualified Occupational First Aider to administer emergency care in their workplace.
Participants will learn a high level of practical skill and theoretical knowledge, so that they can deal competently with any situation that may arise in their working environment.
While scenarios are geared towards situations commonly encountered by security personnel, successful participants on this program receive a nationally recognised first aid qualification. A detailed fact sheet is available for down load for further information on this course.

Course Requirements
Participants are required to bring a photocopy of their passport or drivers licence, two passport sized photos and their PPS number for registration purposes.
Course Cost
This course costs 295 euro including manual and certification.
Course Accreditation
This course is accredited by FETAC and successful participants receive a FETAC Level 5 certificate. The assessment is conducted by an independent Instructor recognised by the Health & Safety Authority.
