ICSE Security Training Courses Ireland | Static Guarding Course
If you are interested in working in static security, in retail, industrial or site security, then you must have a static guarding licence from the Private Security Authority (PSA). In order to apply for a Static Guarding licence you must complete a static guarding training course. The basic Static Guarding course required is a level 4 minor award issued by the Further Education Training and Awards Council (FETAC).
In other words if you would like to apply for a static licence with the PSA your must firstly complete the FETAC level 4 minor award, ICSE deliver these training courses and we deliver them nationwide.
The security Guarding course takes between one and two days to complete. Public courses are open to anyone with or with out experience. The course is delivered over 4 Units which are listed below.
Unit 1 Background and Theory
Unit 2 Legislation and Regulation
Unit 3 Retail security
Unit 4 Practical and Emergency Procedures
