Funding Opportunities

If you are unemployed and actively job seeking you may be able to avail of full or partial funding from your Local Employment or FÁS office for ICSE training.

ICSE TrainingWhat do I need to work within the security industry?

There are two licenses available for security staff at the moment. The first a Static Guard Licence allows the holder to work, for example, as a security operative in a shop or factory. For details on the training required to apply for this licence click on the Static Guard Licence above.

The second licence allows the holder to work as a doorman or woman in a pub or night club environment and is referred to as the Door supervisor licence. For details on the training required to apply for this licence please click on Door Supervisor Licence above.
