Course Description.
In order to apply for a Static Guarding Licence with the Private security Authority (PSA) applicants must complete the FETAC Level 4 Guarding Skills training course. This course covers aspects of the skills, knowledge and theory required by participants to prepare them for working as a security guard within a shop or patrolling factories, building sites, etc. It is also the entry level qualification for cash in transit employees. Course Duration
ICSE use a blended approach to delivering this program. Applicants receive a home study pack which they read through prior to attending a one day training program.

Course Requirements
Participants are required to bring a photocopy of their passport or drivers licence, two passport sized photos and their PPS number for registration purposes.
Course Accreditation
This course is accredited by FETAC and successful candidates attain a FETAC level 4 minor award in Guarding Skills.
