Course Description
In our current economic environment many organisations who deal directly with the public are reporting an increase in incidents of aggression and abuse towards their staff.Â
This training programme is designed for people currently working in the public or private services industry.
The course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to understand and manage conflict situations safely.
ICSE bring real world practical skills developed by security professionals from around the world into the class room. Participants are shown simple, effective, proven techniques that can be used in any workplace to reduce aggression and manage conflict safely.
Course Duration
This course is delivered in either a half or full day, depending on participants requirements. Candidates can also complete a FETAC Level 6 in conflict management which is deliverd over two class room days. Candidates completing the FETAC Level 6 program are also required to complete some course work prior to attending the two day training program. The conflict management programs are deliverd through a mixture of role play, video review, group tasks and other interactive techniques. This allows for quick transfer of techniques directly to the workplace.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to bring a photocopy of their passport or drivers licence, two passport sized photos and their PPS number for registration purposes.

Course Accreditation
Short programs 1-2 days are accredited by ICSE. The longer conflict management training program  is accredited through a FETAC Certificate in Conflict Management Level 6.
