This two day course is designed for all staff working in the retail security sector in Ireland. It is expected that the trainees have worked a minimum of 4 weeks in order for them to have a basic understanding of some retail security systems being currently used within stores in Ireland. The course also explores the latest crime statistics, suspicious activities, amateur and professional criminals, items most stolen, systems of theft, counter systems, C.C.T.V., what to do in the event of an armed robbery, and has recently been expanded to include the legal process after an arrest has been made and how to prepare for court.
